Metallic Series – Monitor: How to replace the batteries (S4 and S4 Bluetooth Monitors)

Replacing the batteries on Metallic Series rowers equipped with either the S4 Monitor or S4 Bluetooth Monitor is simple. You’ll need 4 AA batteries (use alkaline, not rechargeable ones) and a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 1

Remove screws (2) fastening the Battery Cover at the rear of the monitor as shown.

Step 2

Remove the Battery Cover as shown.

Step 3

Remove the Batteries as shown. Pay attention to how the batteries are oriented inside of the monitor while doing so.

Step 4

Replace the Batteries as shown, in the same orientation as the batteries removed in Step 3.

Step 5

Replace the Battery Cover as shown.

Replace the screws (2) fastening the Battery Cover at the rear of the monitor as shown.
