Your rower’s finish

Lite Series rowers are currently marketed as “Oak” only. Depending on when you purchased your rower, past models were offered in different woods and stains that have been discontinued as noted below.

OAK

ASH (Discontinued)
White Ash hand-rubbed with Danish oil.
Past name: Natural

BEECH (Discontinued)
European Beech hand-rubbed with Danish oil.

DRIFTWOOD (Discontinued)
White Ash or Northern Red Oak hand-rubbed with Driftwood stain.

Identifying your rower’s clutch

A critical component of all WaterRower models is the sprag-style clutch — the largest of the pulleys in the main tank assembly.

All Lite Series rowers have been equipped with plastic clutches. The handle strap is attached to the clutch with a bolt.
