Replacement of the seat assembly is simple and the process is identical for any Original Series rower. Follow the steps below.
Step 1
Using the 5mm Allen Key located in the rear spacer’s bungee pod, loosen the JCNs holding the Rear Spacer to the rails 3-4 turns each. Do not completely remove the JCNs.
Step 2
Remove the seat.
Step 3
Replace the seat.
Make sure that the indentation in the seat cushion is pointed toward the back of the rower.
Step 4
Tighten the JCNs to secure the rear spacer to the rails. Replace the 5mm Allen Key in the rear spacer’s bungee pod.
